Leaner Response

Create a new blogpost called 'Magazine cover learner response' and complete the following tasks:

1) Add your finished magazine cover as a JPEG image.

2) Type up your feedback from your teacher. If you've received this by email, you can copy and paste it across - WWW and EBIs.
WWW: Good layout and composition
EBI: Attention to detail- date, price etc. Typography: the cursive font is typical of Elle's covers.

3) Consider your mark against the mark scheme above. What are the strengths of your production based on the mark scheme? Think about magazine cover conventions and the media language techniques you have used to communicate with your audience (e.g. mise-en-scene, camera shot etc.)
--> The strength of my production is the color coordination and how they go together. The color scheme suits what a typical Elle magazine would have; one color that stands out and 2 dull colors.
There is clear meaning throughout the magazine. it is a makeup based one.

4) Look at the mark scheme again. What can you do to move your mark higher and, if required, move up a level?
-->To move up a level I would add more media language and knowledge of the product since it is not clear enough.
Need to have a good media cross-media production that constructs suitable.

5) What would be one piece of advice you would give a student about to start the same magazine cover project you have just completed?
--> Make sure you follow the schedule given so that you have enough time to edit the photos. SO that when taking the photos you have the perfect lighting.
