--> This story is about Brexit and how the people who voted to remain in the EU have not received one bit of information about whats going to happen when we leave the EU in next in March 2019. This is an example of hard news because it has to do with current affairs. The new values that can be connected to this continuity because it is an ongoing story.

-->  The audience pleasures shown in this article in surveillance from Blumer and Katz uses and gratifications theory. This is because this article provides a lot of information on the ongoing negotiations of the Brexit deals. The news value shown is familiarity because the audience can relate to the story due to the fact that it is happening in the UK. Another news value given would be negativity because if all the cabinet members resign that means Theresa May has to step down. Therefore, meaning someone else has to lead the Brexit negotiations.
